He said the police had to shoot in the air to disperse the crowd, which threatened to lynch the foreigners, accusing them of operating as criminals.

Residents said they were shocked to see more than 20 foreigners stay in the house and their mission was yet to be established.

Lyambila the aliens have arrived into the country, having stopped over in Nairobi, in a human trafficking syndicate suspected to be operating in the country.

He said it is believed the immigrants on their way to South Africa, but their intentions could not be established immediately as they do not speak English.
