Ghanaian midfielder Kennedy Ashia is thrilled with his debut goal for Hilal in their 2-0 win over Hilal Kadougli.

The 22-year-old scored full marks on his debut for the Sudanese side after scoring against their rivals.

The former Liberty Professionals attacking midfielder opened the scoring with a trademark long range bullet.

And the former Ghana Under-20 midfielder is delighted with his maiden goal.

“I’m very happy to score my first league goal for my club because since I joined the club I always pray for goal and last Wednesday I had it and I’m aiming to score more in our subsequent games,” he told GazzettaGhana

“It was my first league game, I had no difficulty and it was normal for me, the fans on the day were great and everyone like me and we hope to get more three points for them in our future league games.”
