— The German parliament approved Friday an extension of the German army’s missions in Kosovo, Mali and off the coast of Lebanon.
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung:
— German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Labor Minister Andrea Nahles wrote in an article for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that “Germany has a direct responsibility for the lives and living conditions of people who come to Europe.” Both ministers called for more support for refugees fleeing to Europe.
Sueddeutsche Zeitung:
— German Economy Minister Sigmar Gabriel expressed Friday doubts over the controversial Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between the EU and the United States. “I am far from being sure that there will be an agreement at the end,” he said. Enditem
