— The Greek government is expected to submit an application for a bailout program through the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) on Wednesday.

Der Tagesspiegel:
— German Chancellor Angela Merkel was visibly disappointed that in spite of what was announced previously, the Greek government did not present a concept regarding its debt issue at the eurozone’s summit on Tuesday. She noted that talks over a short-term bridge financing cannot begin until a long-term perspective is put in place.

Die Welt:
— The negotiations between Iran and world powers over Iran’s nuclear program have been extended again. European Union foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said Tuesday that the nuclear talks would continue for a couple of days after a self-imposed deadline on Tuesday, tying to solve the “last difficult political problems.” Enditem
