SANAA — Warplanes of the Saudi-led coalition mistakenly hit pro-government forces in Yemen’s southern province of Lahj on Monday afternoon, killing 15 and wounding 50 others, military sources told Xinhua.
The air strikes hit fighters loyal to exiled Yemeni President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi in Balah area in Lahj who were advancing to besiege Shiite Houthi militia in the al-Anad air force base, killing at least 15 and wounding up to 50 others, two military officials at the scene told Xinhua by phone.(Yemen-Stirkes)

DAMASCUS — The Syrian warplanes on Monday carried out 20 strikes against the rebels in the eastern countryside of the capital Damascus, amid escalating violence in that part of the capital, a monitor group said.
The clashes flared Monday morning between the Syrian troops backed by the Lebanese Hezbollah against rebels entrenched in Damascus’ eastern district of Jobar, a main hotbed in the violence threatening the capital. (Syria-Strikes)

ANKARA — Security forces detained 1,050 suspects across 34 Turkish provinces since the nationwide “anti-terrorist operations” began in the country, said the Turkish Prime Ministry in a statement released on its website Monday.
Most of the suspects allegedly belong to the Islamic State (IS) group, Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the far-left Revolutionary People’s Liberation Party-Front (DHKP-C), according to the statement. (Turkey-Terror)
