Die Welt:
— The air raids of the Turkish army camp against the banned Kurdish Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq resulted in the Kurdish conflict breaking out again. The PKK declared that the truce proclaimed two years ago was no longer relevant.

Sueddeutsche Zeitung:
— The Germans will be traveling as much as never before this summer. “Compared to last summer, we achieved a clear plus both in the number of participants as well as revenue,” said Norbert Fiebig, the president of the industry association DRV.
