The Juansa Health Centre in the Asante-Akim North District has taken delivery of assorted medical items running into thousands of cedis to help improve the quality of healthcare.

These included surgical gloves, oxygen apparatus, syringes, catheters and blood collection kits.

They were a gift from World Vision Ghana, an international non-governmental organization (NGO).

Mr John Yankson, Ashanti Regional Director of the NGO, said it was their contribution towards efforts at helping the facility to improve the quality of its services and pledged continued assistance.

Deputy Ashanti Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr Joseph Oduro, received the items on behalf of the Centre and said these would bring some relief to the sick. GNA
