Abedi Ayew Pele

Ghana legend Abedi Ayew Pele has described his son Jordan Ayew?s recent goal drought as normal.

The Black Stars forward, who moved from Olympique Marseille to Sochaux on loan, is struggling to find his rhythm under former Zambia coach Harve Renard.

So far, the 22-year-old has managed to hit the back of the net just once when his side recorded a 2-0 win over Bordeaux last week.

Last Saturday, he was sent off by referee Mikel Lesage in the 84th minute after a tackle on Adrea Raggi.

But Abedi revealed that the difficulty confronting the young striker could happen to any player, but admonished that patience and focus were required during such periods.

?It is normal in football. Once in a while a player goes through such difficult times. But in time, those difficult moments would be over and he will rediscover his rhythm. He has started scoring, the lean season will soon be over,? he told DAILY GUIDE SPORTS.
