This year Jordan Older made local player Herbert Cojulun’s dreams come true by sending the player to tryout in the world’s top professional soccer league with Getafe CF in Madrid, Spain. Getafe plays in La Liga against teams like Real Madrid and Barcelona and is considered to be the top professional soccer league in the world, showcasing stars like Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, and Neymar.

unnamedHerbert Cojulun broke scoring records with more than 100 goals in his high school career at Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, South Carolina and was a Major League Soccer Sue?o (Sue?o MLS) finalist with the Seattle Sounders FC in 2012 and is an award winning soccer player and multi-sport athlete from Cayce, South Carolina who has won many state-wide and national awards and was the 11th fastest 5k runner in the state of South Carolina during his four years at Brookland-Cayce High School. Herbert Cojulun has also played with the professional squads for Corinthians USA and Club Xelaju MC in the Guatemalan 1st division. Herbert Cojulun can represent the USA, Honduras, and Guatemala at the national team level.

Herbert Cojulun came to Ventura, California to take part in Jordan Older’s professional soccer pre-season training camp to get ready for tryouts in Europe, specifically with Getafe CF in La Liga. Herbert Cojulun performed well during his tryout in Spain and Getafe’s general manager Carlos Guerrero Santiago was impressed by Herbert Cojulun’s ability and instructed him to get more experience playing in the minor leagues. Carlos Guerrero Santiago confirmed to the player that Getafe CF will sign Cojulun next year if he continues to play well.

Herbert Cojulun, who was just 20 years old during the tryout in Spain, impressed other Spanish teams and and received 2 additional offers from clubs in Spain, but instead of staying in Spain, Jordan Older, Herbert Cojulun’s agent, arranged for Cojulun to travel to Germany and tryout with 1st Bundesliga Wolfsburg affiliate-club CSV Bochum. Herbert Cojulun arrived in Germany and was immediately put into a pre-season game for CSV Bochum and impressed everyone by scoring a goal and assisting on another goal in a win for CSV Bochum.

Herbert Cojulun signed with CSV Bochum today. CSV Bochum plays in the German Landesliga, the 6th division, and is coached by Vfl Bochum former player and current Wolfsburg scout, Frank Benatelli. This Wolfsburg connection essentially, but unofficially, makes CSV Bochum a minor league affiliate of Wolfsburg, which is one of the top clubs in the entire German Bundesliga, placing 2nd in the national table behind FC Bayern Munich, and playing in the European Champions League. Players can be transfered between teams in Germany at any time.

Jordan Older was the first American born-and-raised player to play in both of Brazil’s top professional soccer leagues, in the Paulista Championship Serie A1 and in the Brazilian Championship Serie A with Uni?o S?o Jo?o EC. Jordan Older was the first player ever to have his 3D likeness scanned by EA Sports for the popular video game FIFA World Cup and has also played professionally in Europe and the United states and took part in the the US National Team (Team USA) training camp in December, 1994 with Team USA/US World Cup head coach Bora Milutinovic.
