What statute of limitations? Dola Indidis, a Kenyan lawyer, wants to overturn the conviction and death sentence given to Jesus 2,000 years ago. Though an attempt to bring the case to the High Court of Kenya in 2007 failed (the court said it lacked the jurisdiction to hear it), Indidis is now trying to get the International Court of Justice at The Hague to hear his suit, which targets everyone from the Roman Emperor Tiberius, King Herod and Judean Gov. Pontius Pilate to modern-day Italian and Israeli governments. Alas, experts say Indidis? case, which he says is his ?duty? to pursue, doesn?t stand a chance of being considered by the ICJ. Can?t blame a guy for trying. [Source]
