The Chief of Jato, Nene Adjewi Narh III has appealed to philanthropist, and natives of the town both home and abroad to render some financial assistance towards the completion of the palace.

The made this appeal during the celebration of this year?s Shai-mameng festival by the Chiefs and people of Jato.

The theme for the celebration was ?Get Involved To PossessTheLand.?

According to Nene Adjeiwei Narh, for a nation to thrive, its human and natural resources needs to tapped for the development of that nation.

He said it is in view of this thatGhanaians need to bring their expertise together to ensure total development of the nation.

He noted that it has now reached a point where everybody?s knowledge, strength and material resources would be needed for the development of the nation.

He stressed that it also behoveson the youth of the country to come together and offer ideas in building the nation.

He later urged the people of Jato to come together and help build the area.

He again appealed to the government to include Basic schools in the area in the School Feeding Programme as well as a health centre for the community.

He further appealed to the public to exercise restraint in all their endeavours so as not to jeopardise the peace that the country is currently enjoying.
