The second edition of the ?Japan Motors-e.tv Corporate Run,? which aims at promoting healthy lifestyles and providing a unique networking opportunity for corporate professionals, is set to take off at 6:00am on Friday, September 21 2012, at the Silver Star Tower in Accra.? Free registration has opened for corporate organisations to register and participate in the fun day activities to energize their workforce while supporting a great charity cause at the same time.?

Registration centres include all Japan Motors or Pippa?s Health Centre locations, e.tv / Happy FM at Asylum Down, Silverbird Lifestyle Store at the Accra Mall or Silver Star Tower at Airport City or via e-mail at [email protected].

Following the huge success of its maiden edition last year, the Corporate Run event has now been instituted as an annual affair to be held on September 21 of each year. The objective of the event is to bring the Ghanaian corporate community together through health-driven sports activities, and to leverage networks to support under-served communities.? As was done last year, this year?s event will be in aid of the Ghana Blind Union (formerly Ghana Association of the Blind).

Mr. Salah Kweku Kalmoni, Executive Director of Silver Star Auto Ltd. ? hosts of the event, stressed the importance of living a well balanced life, particularly as a corporate professional. ?A healthy body is fundamental to success in all aspects of life. And good exercise is a necessary ingredient for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. We must therefore embrace such programmes aimed at boosting physical and mental strength. Ultimately, a healthy workforce makes a healthy organisation? he noted.

On his part, General Manager of etv Ghana, J.O.T. Agyeman reiterated e.tv Ghana?s commitment to playing a significant role in improving the health of Ghanaians through strategic partnerships and events and urged all companies to register and participate in the event. ?This is a great opportunity for companies to show they care about the health of their most valuable asset, their employees.? I urge them to be part of this unique event that promotes health and offers a networking platform for corporate professionals.?

The Japan Motors ? e.tv Corporate Run is a joint initiative between Japan Motors and e.tv Ghana. This year?s event is expected to run from 6:00am to 10:00am in the morning.
