TEAM NEWS
Angola will be without goalkeeper Carlos Fernandes due to suspension, after he picked up two yellow cards.

Striker Nando Rafael made his debut for Angola as a sub against Sudan and despite picking up a shoulder injury has trained and should be fit.

The Ivorians are expected to be at full strength and will look to ensure that they top the group.

Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou picked up a hamstring strain against Burkina Faso, but he is expected to be fit.

MATCH PREVIEW
The Ivorians are already assured of a place in the quarter-finals, but can still be beaten to top spot in Group B by the Palanacas Negras.

Angola – who are second with two points behind the Ivorians – need to avoid defeat to be guaranteed a place in the last eight for the third time in their history.

If the Palancas Negras lose, they will need Burkina Faso to do them a favour by holding Sudan to a draw at least.

The two sides first met in the finals 14 years ago, and that game ended in a breathtaking 4-3 victory for the Ivorians.

Ivory Coast coach Francois Zahoui says that any changes he makes against Angola will be geared towards winning the group.

“Even if we make some changes to the team, it will not be one to affect our dynamics,” Zahoui said.

“We want to win the group. We are not here to gift away points or make favours. My mission is to bring the trophy back to Abidjan.”

Home-based Angolan goalkeeper, Hugo, is the likely replacement for Carlos.

“There are 23 players in the side and if one of us is unavailable, the team is strong enough to count on its substitutes,” said Hugo, who plays for Kabuscorp in Angola.
