Also speaking, the Izala spiritual leader, Shiekh Yahaya Jingir, advised various tiers of government in the country to be fair and just in their dealings with all segments of the society.

This, he said, was necessary to put an end to the security challenges and other problems the nation was facing.

He also called on the three tiers of government to provide gainful employment to the teeming unemployed youths, to curb societal crimes.

The religious leader called on the youths to shun crime, and urged security agencies to prosecute any person arrested for causing trouble in the country.

He said such action was necessary to the restoration of peace and stability nationwide

He appealed to the Plateau State government to re-open the Muslim cemetery in Jos or provide the members of the organisation an alternative burial ground.

More than 160 youths will participate in the one week event.
