The Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners (IHRMP), Ghana, has opened chapters in Takoradi and Kumasi in separate ceremonies at the GPHA Junior Club House, Takoradi and the Golden Tulip, Kumasi City respectively.

In Takoradi an interim Executive body chaired by Mr. J.C. Gabrah was given the mandate to officially commence chapter activities that will bring together HR practitioners in the Central and Western Regions of Ghana for knowledge-sharing and networking.

And in Kumasi thirty-eight (38) practitioners made time to meet and interact on HR issues. By the end of the meeting, an Interim Executive Team — chaired by Mrs. Georgina Yeboah — had been elected and given the mandate to officially commence Chapter activities that will accrue to the benefit of HR practitioners within and around the Kumasi Metropolis.

The IHRMP officials that officiated the inauguration of both Chapters were Mr. Ebenezer Agbettor (Executive Director); Mr. George Anto-Boateng (National Governing Council Executive Member); Mrs. Josephine Ayesu-Djan (PR & Events Manager); Miss Susana Manu (Chairperson-Accra Chapter); and Mrs. Dora Siaw Lartey.
