Iceland’s balance of services trade declined to a surplus of 1.04 billion U.S. dollars in 2014 from 1.09 billion dollars in 2013, Statistics Iceland said Monday.
According to preliminary figures, Iceland’s export of services in 2014 was about 3.74 billion dollars and the import of services was 2.70 billion dollars.
With a trade surplus of 967.5 million dollars, transport was the top earner of trade surplus in the country’s service sector, according to Statistics Iceland. Enditem
