Highlife legend K.K Kabobo now a Reverend Minister + releasing gospel album in June

Highlife artiste Kwabena Kwakye Kabobo popularly known as K.K Kabobo popularly noted for his hits songs like Nyatse Nyatse Girl, Running Away and Onyame Ebuwo in the 90’s is now a Reverend Minister.

It comes up after a three month exclusive Bible study course that saw him have an in-depth knowledge of the Bible.The artiste was ordained a Reverend Minister on Saturday, April 14 by Covenant Mission Bible College at Achimota.

According to Showbiz Ghana,the 52 year-old man and a father of nine said

“there was a time I almost gave up in life, but pastors, prophets and apostles came to me saying God wants to use me to bless people so I shouldn’t disappoint God.”

He also elaborated on how miracles did take place during and after his preaching in various churches.He also cautioned church members to stay away the many upcoming pastors who rob people of their wealth. He advises them to takes steps to have a fair knowledge of the industry before venturing into it.

“The pastors themselves who are coming into the profession should know the impartiality, the boundaries and other things before they make a mess of themselves,” he argued.

Well, he explained that playing highlife music again would mean going back to his old ways hence he noted that he has a fully loaded album featuring gospel artistes like Amy Newman, Mary Ghansah among others, which will be released by June.

“I have decided to do reggae gospel so that people can dance to it, most gospel songs are slow but with my gospel, I believe everybody will dance to it” he added.
