An 80-year old heavily  drunk  man created confusion between polling agents of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) after being assisted by one of the polling agents at the Hemang in the Atwima Kwanwoma constituency.

The drunkard after being aided to cast his vote accused the NPP polling agent of deceiving him saying his instincts tells him that the agent aided him wrongly.

According to him, he told the agent to help him vote for President Mahama but believed he mistakenly voted for the NPP candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

Ultimate FM’s Christian Larbi reports that he chanted ‘JM Toaso’  creating confusion at the polling station.

This led to a heated argument between the polling agents as to whether to give the aggrieved old man another chance to vote or not.

The NDC agents suggested they give the man another chance to vote but the NPP agents kicked against the idea.
