Ghanas captain Asamoah Gyan has expressed his disappointment in not scoring in Comoros game as he was looking for his 50th career goal for the Black Stars.

Prior to the game, Gyan has scored 48 goals in 95 caps looking for his landmark 50th goal career goal for the Black Stars but he failed to hit the back of the net.

Gyan, 29, has expressed disappointment for not scoring to urge closer to the landmark 50th goal record.

Im very disappointed but I think we have a lot of games so I am not worried at all. As a striker sometimes you miss chances. Sometimes you score and I believe in my qualities.

I know what I am capable of doing so definitely there are a lot of games to be played. I know I am going to hit my 50th goal, Gyan said after the game.

Though he didnt score in clash against Comoros, a goal in each half from Mubarak Wakaso and Jordan Ayew won the bragging rights for Ghana over their counterparts to qualify on a 2-0 aggregate.
