During the visit, several cooperation agreements were signed between the two countries, including an agreement on regular diplomatic consultations and one in the management of environment and natural resources.

According to Guinea’s Foreign Affairs Ministry, an agreement on aerial services will enable RwandAir airlines to fly to the Guinean capital in the coming months.

Kagame promised that Rwanda would support Guinea’s efforts to resolve environmental challenges by sharing governance lessons.

Conde said that for a long time, his country had desired to revive close relations with Rwanda, which has made Africa proud in the area of economic and environmental governance.

On the continental front, the two presidents deplored recurrent conflicts in some African countries as well as terrorism and religious extremism that threaten Africa’s and global stability. Enditem
