The GN Bank, a part of the Groupe Nduom, has launched a new branch at Mpohor in the Western Region to serve the needs of the area.
The Mpohor branch is the 23rd branch in the Western Region and brings the number to more than 300 branches nationwide; the bank is also the widest spread retail bank in the country.
The new branch would among others provide services such as international money transfer, mobile money transfer, mobile banking and other services in the operational area.
Dr Paa Kwesi Nduom, President of Groupe Nduom, who inaugurated the bank, said it is the hope of the bank to increase its branches to 300 across the country.
He said the bank currently has eight branches in Liberia with a branch each in Togo, Ivory Coast and Benin.
Dr Nduom urged the public to patronise services provided by Ghanaian companies to ensure the growth of the economy adding “when you do business with us, the dividends are invested here and not outside…. We believe that in the near future, government would be able to borrow internally from us”.
He urged the staff of the bank to work diligently to ensure the growth and development of the bank.
Osabarima Kow Entsie II, Omanhene of the Mpohor Traditional Area, expressed gratitude to the Groupe Nduom for establish the facility in the area saying it would open up the area for economic growth.
