A Political Group, Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), on Tuesday in Ilorin sensitized the people of the state to participate and ensure a violence free 2015 general elections.
The state Coordinator of the group, Moshood Bakare, said at the inauguration of the group that a peaceful Nigeria is far better than the interest of anyone hence the need to ensure a violence free election.
He told the gathering that the group is working for the success of the presidential ambition of Gen. Mohammedu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Bakare called on Nigerians to see now as a period of change, asking them to participate in the democratic process that can bring thechange they are yearning for.
?This is a right we have, we must all come out to vote. This is an opportunity that comes every four years, we are looking forward to Feb. 14? Bakare said.
Also addressing the gathering, the Publicity Coordinator of the group, Nasiru Abdulkadri, said this year?s democratic process is a movement that is expected to bring a change that Nigerians are yearning for.
He said the group has no party affiliation but a cause for all Nigerians even if it is supporting the presidential ambition of Gen. Buhari.
Abdulkadri added that the qualification to be part of the BSO is to be patriotic to know that the country cannot continue the way it is now.
