Already, the businesswoman is tipped by majority of the electorates as their preferred choice against the incumbent National Democratic Congress [NDC] member, Rachael Nana Adwoa Appoh who they say has disappointed them by not living up to their expectation.

Survey conducted by Newsghana.Com in the constituency revealed that the aspiring NPP member, Mrs. Naana Eyiah Quansah has a slight edge over the incumbent NDC member, Rachael Nana Adwoa Appoh

Some of the electorates interviewed by Newsghana.Com attributed this to the popularity of Mrs. Naana Eyiah Quansah with reference to her contribution to the developmental needs of the people and the constituency as a whole.

Already, she is said to have made personal donations in the area of supply of materials and other logistics as well as cash donations for the renovations of dilapidated schools in the constituency and has also put many out of school youth into various vocational apprenticeship to acquire skills so as to become self- employed, among other things.

Described as a true daughter of the land, Mrs. Naana Eyiah Quansah’s family has a political history to boast of being a grand-daughter to Nana Okutwer Bekwoi who played active role in politics during the era of Ghana’s first president Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, grand-daughter to the founder of the Great Consolidated Popular Party [GCPP], the late Mr. Dan Lartey who became known in the political circles as ‘’Domestication’’ and niece of Dr. Henry Lartey, son of Mr. Dan Lartey and also a royal.
