Former Ghana goalkeeper George Owu has Black Stars return dreams on his cards

Former Ghana goalkeeper George Owu has fixed his sight firmly on a return to the Ghana senior team after helping second-tier side Sekondi Hasaacas secure promotion back to the Ghana Premier League.

The 30-year-old left Ebusua Dwarfs to return Hasaacas last season after returning from a stint with Egyptian side El-Masry.

Owu, who has 9 international caps with Ghana kept all matches for Hasmal as they successful navigated their return to the Ghanaian top-flight.

And the former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper is confident his form in the Premier League next season will propel him for a return to the Black Stars.

?I know I?m doing well and I?ve not given hope. Very soon I?ll show that in the Premier League and hope get back into the national team,? he told Accra-based Peace FM.

Owu was a member of the 2006 Ghana World Cup squad that made their debut appearance in the World Cup?s history.
