GOA Group limited an events and artist management outfit has donated items worth over GHC2000 to the weija leprosarium on New Year’s Day.
As part of the New Year celebrations the entire team spent their time with the lepers at the leprosarium to put smiles on the faces of these less privileged Ghanaians in our society.

The donations which forms part of the GOA Group charity projections for the year, has also embarked on a project dubbed ‘the physically challenged support project’’ that seeks to support and donate to people living with disabilities twice every year.

The organizers of the Surprise Awards for Excellence (SAE), a scheme that seeks to award and honour deserving individuals surprisingly for their excellence in their field of endeavor has in its short existence contributed their quota selflessly to the development and welfare of the less privilege.

Donating to the leprosarium, the CEO of GOA Group Limited Mr. Ofosu Adjei said as young as the team is, the company and the SAE Awards scheme wouldn’t be on the band wagon but to make sure it inculcates and encourage the attitude of making lives better for the less privileged in society by individual philanthropists and organizations to enhance development of the nation.
As part of giving and showing immense affection to the inmates of the leprosarium, the less privileged & those in distress he mentioned that young people should also emulate the older generation by channeling their strengths to making the society a better place for all.

Some of the items donated to the leprosarium included food items,toiletries,detergents, bed sheets, bandages, Bags of water and assorted drinks all in a bid to put some smile on the faces of these lepers who are sometimes abandoned by family and friends due to their condition.
