Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) has held the maiden edition of young entrepreneurs forum, to throw more light on how the Centre work with entrepreneurs.

Yoofi Grant The forum dabbed; ‘connect-accelerate-grow,’ is focused on sharing GIPC’s strategies and as well as take the young entrepreneurs through the GIPC act.

In his welcome address at the forum, the Chief Executive Officer of GIPC, Yoofi Grant noted that, with the young energetic and youthful population in Ghana, harnessing their entrepreneurial potentials, will be the key in accelerating our economic growth.

The main objective of the event is also sensitizing young entrepreneurs, create avenues to interact with industry players and to promote dialogue between the private sector and the government.

In a related story, the General Manager of Venture Capital, Hamdiya Ismaila unveiled ways the various SME’s could gain access to capital.

According to her, SME’s needs to create the enabling environment where there will be easy access to funds for upcoming entrepreneurs.

At the mentorship session were, Daniel Mckorley, CEO of McDan shipping, Richard Adjei, CEO of KASAPREKO, Constance Swaniker, CEO of Accents and Arts, Alex Brampton, CEO of Hubtel, Kwabena Opagya Amoateng, CEO of Agro Africa Ltd and many others.
