The 2017 IEEE – PES Power Africa Conference will be hosted in Ghana from Tuesday, 27th to Friday, 30th June, 2017 under the theme: “Harnessing Energy Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for Affordable Electrification of Africa.”

The annual Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Power & Energy Society (PES) Power Africa Conference seeks to leverage ICT to build solutions for on-grid and off-grid systems respectively across the continent that are economically, environmentally and socially sustainable; and offers the world’s largest forum for sharing the latest technological developments in electric power industry.

According to the event managers, RICS Consult Limited, the venue for the 2017 IEEE – PES Power Africa Conference is the GIMPA Executive Conference Centre.

The 3-day event also provides the platform for linking investors to boost small energy businesses in and out of Africa, through a broad exhibition of initiatives, innovations, technologies, products and breakthrough advancements toward making the continent a competitive market for affordable electrification to drive Africa’s development and growth.
