THE LEADER of The New Jerusalem Prayer and Revival Ministry, Elder Edward Kobina, has called on all Ghanaians to extend their act of benevolence to the less privileged in the society in order to put smiles on their faces.

He continued that the act of showing kindness was divine and a spiritual investment leading to creating a world free of violence.

Elder Kobina said these in a sermon based on the theme: ?Do Not Give up on Doing Acts of Kindness? at the auditorium of the church at Mintahkrom near Adukrom in the Akuapem North Municipal Assembly of the Eastern Region, recently.

The event was also used to present wax prints and other items to more than 60 people including the elderly in the community.

The beneficiaries were selected from villages within the neighbourhood of Mintakrom and communities along the Akuapem Ridge.

The Leader of the church reiterated that the act of showing kindness was an integral part of Jesus Christ?s ministry, adding, ?We only get satisfaction when we give to the vulnerable members for them to also share in with our joy.?

Elder Kobina further said the world would be a better place if every citizen ?supports the vulnerable groups who live among the privileged and whose manpower the rich of society exploit in the name of employment.?

He donated two packets of roofing sheets to 70-year- old Elder Samuel Adu, to help him roof his mud house.

Deaconess Rose Akanyi, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, commended Elder Edward Kobina for the gesture.
