Ghanaians have been urged to stop exerting pressure on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to fulfil the 2016 elections campaign promises overnight.

Mrs Grace Love, the Field President of Women Home and Overseas Missionary and Society of West Ghana Conference of AME Zion Church, said President Nana Akufo-Addo as a visionary leader and a man of integrity, would never depart and disappoint social contracts made to people of Ghana during electioneering campaign.

The Field President made this known to Media at the end of a three-day Annual Women’s Convention of the West Ghana Conference of AME Zion Church at Akim Manso in the Birim Central Municipality of Eastern Region.

It was attended by eight Districts under West Ghana Conference namely, Cape Coast, Winneba, Akim Akkroso, Agona Swedru, Sekondi, Akim Manso, Assin Fosu and Wassa Darmang.

She said Nana AKufo-Addo had spent only two months in Presidency and it was premature for Ghanaians, especially opposition party members to speak nefarious against government to reverse deteriorated economy just one day.

She stated that it was too early to criticize the government that it cannot implement policies and programme outlined during the electioneering campaign to the people of Ghana.

The Field President said President Akufo-Addo has not completed nominating deputy ministers, MMDCEs and chief executive officers to various state owned institutions to enhance development.

She said the sectors and regional ministers have just been approved by Parliament and sworn into offices, adding, some Ministers were about to start work to ensure that the vision and mission of the government were fulfilled.

The Field President of the Church said President Akufo- Addo has principles and values that could help to transform the country
into a better place to live and it could become an icon of Africa and the rest of the World.

She said Women and Children were most affected if the economy was poorly managed, adding that some of the interventions were yet to be implemented, such as the free SHS and others would be implemented.

The Field President of the Church exhorted supporters of NPP to desist from seizing state assets, which was gradually tarnishing the image of the President and government.

The Administrative Bishop of West Ghana Conference of AME Zion Church, Reverend Helena Swanzy-Essien, urged women to desist from acts that degrade womanhood, adding that breaching and other social vices must be stopped as ambassadors of Christ.

She expressed the hope and confidence that the three days conference would bring tremendous change in the life of women.
