Ghanaians should be commended for taking the initiative that aims to intercede on behalf of the country at a point where the nation is experiencing rough ride in selecting a substantive president.

Their initiative to pray for the country Ghana without ceasing is worth commending because it gives a clear indication that they recognize God as the true leader and owner of the country and not mere human beings as leaders.

Wherever the hand of God reigns the creator ensures that unity, peace and understanding thrives and unceasing development goes on at every corner everyday.

Referring to Psalm 24:1-6 reads,? The earth and everything on it belong to the lord. The world and its people belong to him. The lord placed it all on the oceans and rivers. Who may climb the lord?s hill or stand in his holly temple?

?Only those who do right for the right reasons and do not worship idols or tell lies under oath. The lord God who saves them will bless them and reward them because they worship the God of Jacob?.

Therefore Ghanaians should be commended for taking the problems facing the country to God for answers at this turbulent time where the country is experiencing so much corruption, high incidence of crime, high rate of unemployment and many more.

Often than not, we shower all the praises on the 2012 NPP presidential candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo for his able leadership in controlling his followers from taking actions that might have caused chaos in the country.

As it is true that the 2012 NPP presidential candidate exhibited sterling qualities in leadership by showing how patriotic, he took his grievances to the Supreme Court of the land to settle the matter instead of inciting his supporters to visit mayhem on the country, which he deserve praise for that.

Aside that decision by the leader of the NPP, the entire people of Ghana needs to be commended as well for staying calm but showing much interest in the landmark proceedings of the election petition and not taking the law into their own hands.

So having realized that at this point the country needs to be raised to the owner in prayers for him to navigate it to where he wants for peace and tranquility to prevail, all needs to join in the prayers for total control of the lord to be established on the land.

When the Israelites were taken into slavery in Egypt and at a point could not remain in servitude to their masters anymore, they cried unto the lord in prayed and the lord sent Moses to deliver them from Egypt as the Bible tells us.

Currently, the situation in the country Ghana looks the same but a little bit different in the sense that the people are suffering from economic hardship on their own land under a bad leadership.

They did not take their suffering to trees, river goddess, rocks nor a priest somewhere to deliver them but to the almighty God in prayers so it is a shame to hear that the police men and women were sent to break their prayer meeting on the streets.

But their intercession for the country is based on Psalms 75:6-7 which reads,? Our Lord and our God, victory doesn?t come from the east or the west or from the desert. You are the one who judges. You can take away power and give it to others?.

Is that not the same person who was going round in circle preaching that his induction as a president was ordained by the same God the people are praying to?

So why should he as a commander in chief of the security forces oversee a breaking of a prayer meeting by people who are interceding on behalf of the country?

Let our beloved brothers and sisters in Ghana know and understand that they have our back so far as they are seeking the face of the lord in selecting a substantive leader over the country to direct it to where the maker wants, they should not back out from prayers.

Get into the churches, go onto the parks move from house to house and engage as many people as you can in prayers interceding on behalf of the country and the lord God will surely bring justice for the country to enjoy total peace.

And now referring to Psalm 91: 14-16 which reads?

?The lord says,? if you love me and truly know who I am, I will rescue you and keep you safe. When you are in trouble, call out to me.

?I will answer and be there to protect and honor you. You will live a long life and see my saving power?.

I urge all good people of Ghana to pray for the country and for the Lord God to surely deliver justice to the satisfaction of all soon.
