Ghanaians have been urged to continue to have self-belief as they celebrated 57 years of political independence.

Mr Joe Adansi-Bondah, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai who made the call, said it was important for all to remain optimistic about the nation?s future and work with a collective sense of responsibility to improve their lives.

The DCE was addressing a parade of over 2,100 school children drawn from five senior high schools (SHS), 15 junior high schools (JHS) and 18 primary schools at Bibiani.

Mr Adansi-Bondah underlined the need for hard work, unity, discipline and political tolerance among Ghanaians.

He assured the people of the government?s determination to bring development to them and called for their support. GNA
