The country?s political leaders have been advised to seek the face of God for the country to regain its past glory as the star of Africa.
The country is said to have lost its glory because its political leaders have turned from God and lean on their own understanding in the execution of their mandate.
The advice was given by the minister in charge of the Apostles? Continuation Church at Winneba, Pastor Moses Amponsah during a 5-Day monthly non-Denominational Watch Night Revival by the church on the theme: ?You Are Not Under Any Curse.?
Pastor Moses Amponsah also cautioned Christians to develop the habit of reading the Bible, so as not to fall victim to self-styled pastors whose aim is just to make money out of the unsuspecting public.
In a related development, the pastor in charge of the Agona Swedru branch of the Living Miracle Worship Center, Rev. Daniel Ofori Kwafo has expressed worry about the influx of what he termed fake pastors in the Clergy.
Speaking at a 4-Day non- Denominational Revival organized by the Church on the theme: ?Let The Prophet Speak?, Rev. Kwafo said the influx of fake pastors in the Clergy remains a great worry to the Clergy because their deeds turn to drag the image of the work of God into disrepute.
According to him, the objective of the revival was to re-awaken the spiritual upliftment of the people for them to be able to discern between good and bad prophets.
He later cautioned Christians who troop to these fake pastors to be wary, so as not to be led into the kingdom of darkness.
In another development, the Gomoa Akropong branch pastor of the Resurrection Life Ministry Int., Rev. Stephen Andam has also called on Ghanaians to have a renewal of their mind, especially in this current era of harsh economic situation confronting the country.
He said the country has found itself in such a situation because its leaders have failed to seek the face of God, and rather lean on their own understanding.
Rev. Andam, who was speaking at a One-Week Revival of the Church on the theme: ?Holy Ghost Empowerment? noted that the situation has contributed to high level of corruption in the country because there is little fear of God in the people, even Christians.
He hinted that apart from reviving the spirits of the people through the programme, it is also intended to educate them on the need to be patriotic to the nation.
He disclosed that over five hundred people are expected to attend the revival.
