Albert Adomah was the star performer on the weekend

Adam L Kwarasey (Stromsgodset ? Norway)

For Brann, it was impossible to go past Kwarasey who was in superb shape as Stromsgodset recorded their 7th clean sheet of the season winning 2-0 at their favourite Marienlyst Stadion. The 24-year-old had sometimes been chastised for allowing in 27 goals but he was at his best on Sunday afternoon. The Ghana No1 stood between Brann?s top scorer Kim Ojo and his 11th goal of the campaign.

Razak Nuhu (Stromsgodset ? Norway)

Nuhu manned the Stroms defence on the left-back and was involved in the sequence of play that secured the second goal for Stromsgodset through Ola Kamara.

Jonathan Mensah (Evian TG ? France)

He was a towering pillar at the back for Evian TG as they shared the spoils with Lorient in a 1-1 drawn contest. The former Granada FC defenders dealt superbly with the Lorient attack and thwarted most of their moves upfront.

John Boye (Stade Rennes ? France)

Boye limited Lille?s chance in attack with his increadible man-marking abilities and timely clearance. He was also superior in arial challenges as Rennes moved out of the drop zone with an impressive 2-0 win over Lille.

Nana Akwasi Asare (FC Utrecht ? Holland)

Despite Utrecht?s 2-1 home defeat to Vitesse Arnhem, the full-back distinguished himself with his impressive surging runs on the left flank. It is about time Ghana coach James Kwesi Appiah took a look at him.

Rabiu Mohammed (Evian TG ? France)

The 2009 FIFA World U20 Cup winner was in his usual best shape in his central midfield role after coming off the bench to replace the injured Djakaridja Kon? in the 23rd minute.

Albert Adomah (Bristol City ? England)

The winger has promised goals for Bristol City fans and he is delivering them. He scored a superb goal for City and put up an extraordinary performance for the Robins in their 3-2 loss to Leeds United on home grounds.

Kwadwo Asamoah (Juventus ? Italy)

The midfielder came off the bench for the champions in their 4-1 drubbing of rivals AS Roma at the Juventus Arena and he showcased an eye-catching display for the Bianconeri.

Jordan Ayew (OM ? France)

Jordan underlined his scoring credentials once more by coming off the bench to scored his second goal of the season with a wonderful volley for Olympique Marseille in their humiliating 4-1 defeat at Valenciennes on Sunday.

Richmond Boakye-Yiadom (Sassuolo ? Italy)

The Juventus loanee announced his return to the Serie B with a bang on his third game to help preserve Sassuolo?s unbeaten run.

Dominic Adiyiah (Arsenal Kiev ? Ukraine)

Arsenal Kiev manager Leonid Kuchuk can thank the former AC Milan striker for handing his side a point with a 23rd minute low volley from inside the box.
