Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has made fresh allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracles Ministries, accusing him of manipulation and dishonesty over alleged DNA test results involving his children. The actress described his actions as pure wickedness in a strongly worded Instagram post on Monday.
Ogala dared the cleric to publicly release DNA results concerning his children, threatening to expose how the tests were allegedly obtained and reveal private conversations surrounding the issue. She claimed she had initially avoided speaking publicly about the matter because children were involved, but felt compelled to respond after what she described as continued provocation.
The actress further alleged that Pastor Chris Okafor had lied about the paternity of his own children and accused him of attempting to silence and blackmail them while simultaneously granting interviews. According to her social media post, Okafor allegedly sent inappropriate videos of his daughters to her in what she described as an attempt to intimidate them after they criticized his lifestyle.
Ogala warned the pastor against speaking about his children again, stating she would reveal more details if he continued. She maintained that she had previously warned the pastor about his conduct but decided to go public after he allegedly attempted to misrepresent the situation. The actress accused Okafor of bringing different women, including church members and choir members, into his home.
The allegations come despite a Lagos High Court injunction issued on Thursday, January 22, by Justice Akintunde Savage at the Ikeja division, which restrained Ogala, social media influencer Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, and one Kelvin Chimaobi Emmanuel from mentioning Pastor Chris Okafor, his church, or ministry on any platform. The court order prohibits the defendants from publishing any alleged private materials, including chats, conversations, texts, pictures, images, or videos involving the clergyman.
The injunction was granted pending the determination of a substantive suit filed by Pastor Okafor, who is the claimant in the case marked ID/14399GCMW/2026. The matter has been adjourned to February 2 for hearing. Despite the court order, Ogala continues to make allegations against the pastor on social media.
The controversy began in mid December 2025 when Ogala released videos on Instagram accusing the pastor of a sexual relationship that allegedly started in 2017. She claimed she ended her previous marriage at his urging and accused him of betraying her after years of intimacy and repeated promises of marriage. Ogala stated that Okafor promised to marry her but instead married another woman, Pearl Okafor, on December 16, 2025, at a ceremony in Lekki, Lagos.
Pastor Okafor stepped down from his pastoral duties in early January, announcing he would take the entire month off for what he described as a personal retreat with God and time to rest with his wife following their wedding. He returned to the pulpit on Sunday, February 1, and was received with celebration by his congregation despite the ongoing police investigation.
During a press conference on Thursday, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Okafor questioned the logic behind Ogala’s allegations, asking why she would demand marriage or ₦1 billion from a man she accused of being a murderer. He traced the origin of his legal troubles to a wedding planner who allegedly leaked his remarriage plans.
The pastor’s legal team, led by counsel Ife Ajayi, has challenged Ogala, VeryDarkMan, and others making allegations to submit concrete proof to the Nigeria Police. In a statement to journalists in Lagos, Ajayi described the allegations as false, malicious, and part of a coordinated campaign of cyberbullying and blackmail. He revealed that Ogala and Pastor Okafor had reached an out of court settlement in the past involving a business transaction, which included a clause barring her from publicly mentioning his name.
The lawyer stated that Ogala was arrested before Christmas 2025 over fresh allegations and interrogated by police in Lagos, during which she reportedly denied making some of the serious claims attributed to her online. He said formal complaints have been filed against individuals and platforms that promoted the allegations, with a limited time given to present evidence to police.
Pastor Okafor appeared before the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Panti, Lagos, on January 7 for questioning after initially ignoring an earlier police invitation dated January 4. His statement was taken, but he was not detained as no complainant has yet come forward. Police officials stated they are committed to pursuing justice if victims decide to cooperate and that the door remains open for testimonies and evidence.
Alongside Ogala, other women have made allegations against the pastor. His former wife, Bessem Okafor, alleged infidelity, physical abuse, and deception, stating she left the marriage 14 years ago due to shame and trauma. A woman identified as Chi Okafor claimed to be the pastor’s biological daughter and accused him of abandonment, while another woman named Ebere, said to be a former choir member, accused him of a long term affair.
The Lagos State Police Command paused its investigation into allegations against Pastor Okafor, with spokesperson Abimbola Adebisi stating the police could not act on social media allegations alone and that anyone with a petition should come forward. The command noted that the allegations had already been petitioned at higher police levels.
Social media reactions to Ogala’s latest allegations have been mixed, with some users questioning why she kept silent during her alleged relationship with the pastor, while others supported her decision to speak out. One user commented that Ogala always has something to expose about someone, while another stated it was good she was holding the pastor accountable because he appeared desperate to clear his name without caring who gets hurt.
