The Black Princesses of Ghana thrashed Senegal 6-0?in the opening first-leg fixture of the U20 Women?s World Cup (WC) qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday
Senegal will seek to thrive on miracles against their Ghanaian counterpart who proved superior tactically at home to progress to the second round of qualification.

The Princesses seeking for a comfortable win started pressurizing the defense of the Senegalese which resulted in defender Jeannte Coumba Niang committing a foul in the 18yard box. Captain Fatima Alhassan expertly converted from the spot to double the homers advantage in the 15th minute.
Eleven minutes on Jane Ayiyiam increased the tally to three after capitalizing on a blunder by Senegal goalkeeper Ndeye Dieynaba Diof to head the ball into an empty net.
The Princesses determining the pace of the game got their fourth goal through a fine header from Priscilla Adubea with four minutes to end the first half through a cross from right-back Naomi Anima.
From recess, the visitors marched onto the pitch with the determination to get a consolation goal but it all proved futile following the homers gallant display in defense.
Substitute Lily Lawrence- Niber announced her presence in the 55th minutes with her dribbling skills which made Ghana pressing for more goals but Ayieyam and Anima missed the chances that came their way
Senegal made an attempt at goal in the 70th minute but Meta Camara’s strike went directly to Ghana?s goalie Victoria Agyei Antwi who was vertually on holiday.
Ayieyam finally got a brace with nine minutes to full time when she dribbled goalie Diof to take a calm finish after receiving a good ball from Ansah.
Ansah wrapped up victory for her side with a minute left in the four minutes added on time after she took advantage of miscommunication in their opponent defense to punish the visitors.
Ghana travels to Dakar in a fortnight with a 6-0 goal advantage.
