The Ghana Urban Forum 2024, organized by the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, aims to enhance the relationship between the government and various stakeholders.
The forum serves as a platform to deepen efforts in local economic development and urban transformation.
Under the theme “Nurturing Roots, Growing Futures: Combining Policies and Partnerships for Urban Resilience and Transformation,” the forum seeks to address urbanization challenges through innovative policies and collaborative partnerships.
Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, the Minister for Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development, emphasized the importance of the forum in finding lasting solutions to urbanization issues. He called on the private sector, stakeholders, and experts to contribute forward-looking approaches to help track the performance of urban development programs and projects.
