Ghana U20 star Alfred Duncan has vowed to deal with Sassuolo on Saturday

Duncan Vows To Claim Serie A Automatic Promotion Ticket From Sassuolo

By Akyereko Frimpong Manson

Ghana U20 star Joseph Alfred Duncan insists Livorno will do everything to beat Sassuolo for one of the automatic promotion tickets to the Serie A.

Sassuolo (1st) must record a decent record against Livorno (3rd) in the Serie B?s final game of the season to secure one of the two available tickets to the Serie A for next season.

But Livorno must win if they are to gain straight promotion to the Italian top-flight as a draw would mean second-placed Hellas Verona would go through together with Sassuolo.

Duncan, 20, who joined Livorno at the second-half of the season as a loanee from Inter Milan is confident his side is in the right mood to claim victory over Sassuolo.

?It will be a great game and of course the most important for the season. We must do everything to win,? he told Ghanasoccernet.com.

This will not just be a tie between Livorno and Sassuolo but a tie between a Ghana youth trio.

Midfielder Yussif Raman Chibsah who has contributed 2 goals in 27 appearances for Sassuolo?s campaign will be partnered by striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom who will be seeking to increase his goal tally from 11.

Duncan, the 2012 NextGen Series winner with Inter U20 is a midfield machine and will be enough work for the two.
