The Parliament of Ghana will sit today to consider the approval of the embattled Constitutional Instrument (CI) 78.?

The said controversial CI 78 matures on October 2, but the Subsidiary Legislation Committee which worked on it, on Friday proposed that it be nullified.?

The committee argued that the document is still riddled with some inconsistencies. According to the committee, voters in some 34 electoral areas could be disenfranchised if the CI 78 were approved.?

The chairman of the committee, Kwame Osei Prempeh, admit, it will be difficult to get two-third majority to vote for the annulment of the document.
