With the current political impasse between the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) and verdict yet to be delivered by the Supreme Court, men of God have been urged to pray for the nation, rather than giving prophesies about the outcome of the ruling.

The advice was given by Apostle Joshua Kobina Darko, Founder and Leader of the Amour of God (Overcomers Family) at Agona Swedru, and Prophetess Aba Hawa, Founder of ?Nyame Wo Tumi Prayer? Centre at Gomoa Afransi all in the Central Region over the weekend.

They said these prophesies could amount to pre-judgement of the matter in the eyes of the public and also has the tendency of causing confusion among supporters of the two political parties if the verdict does not conform to the prophesies.

They also advised the media to be circumspect in their reportage on the matter so as not to create any chaos in the country.

According to them, Ghana remains the only country for Ghanaians as there is nowhere to run to in case of any conflict, as the country is surrounded by war ravaged countries.

They further advised parents to warn their children particularly the youth to desist from any acts of violence and not allow themselves to be used by any politician to cause mayhem after the verdict has been delivered.

Since the electoral petitions at the Supreme Court, a lot of self-styled prophets have given divergent prophesies about the matter and this, sections of the public deem it unnecessary.
