Kwesi Appiah ? Black Stars coach

Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah believes his side will face their toughest test yet at the tournament in Niger when the two sides face-off in their ultimate Group B clash on Monday in Port Elizabeth.

After managing a draw against DR Congo and recording a lone goal victory over Mali, Appiah reckons that the Mena will serve the biggest headache on their quest to reach the knockout stage of the 29th edition of the continental showpiece football event.

The Stars need at least a point against the Nigeriens to honour the invitation to the party at the last eight of the tournament, and for Appiah scooping a point off the ultimate group clash will come no easy.

?We have played two games; drawn one and won the other. The next game (against Niger) is the most difficult.?

With four points, three points richer than the Nigeriens, the Stars trainer expects a close contest against the surprise packets in the group based in the harbour city of Port Elizabeth.

?They have a tactically disciplined side and are very physical. We have to prepare very well for them because they are a difficult side to play against?.

Midfielder Wakaso Mubarak is suspended for the tie, whilst Boakye-Yiadom?s debut has been delayed yet again, but Appiah insists he has enough players at his disposal to select a team.

?Apart from Wakaso and Boakye-Yiadom, everyone is doing fine. Hopefully, we should get a good side for the Niger game. The choice of players will largely depend on performance at training and the fitness level as well.?

The Stars are hoping to top the group and remain in Port Elizabeth to face runners-up in Group A, Cape Verde.
