Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has declared concrete outcomes from the 2025 Ghana-European Union Partnership Dialogue.

In an official statement, Ablakwa characterized the Accra meeting as strengthening strategic collaborations and advancing Ghana’s development objectives. “The dialogue has produced great outcomes with an even better future to anticipate,” he stated.

Ablakwa acknowledged former President John Dramani Mahama’s participation, noting: “We are grateful to President Mahama for his historic participation where he outlined his vision and sought alignments with Ghana’s RESET agenda.” The minister commended participating Ghanaian officials for their dedication and recognized the EU’s role: “We thank EU ambassadors for the enduring partnership. As our largest multilateral trading partner, Ghana cherishes this cooperation.”

The minister committed to implementation follow-through: “My ministry will vigorously carry out needed follow-ups to guarantee excellent execution of agreed transformative projects.” The annual dialogue facilitates cooperation in trade, development, governance, and security frameworks, with this year’s outcomes positioned to influence bilateral engagement cycles amid ongoing economic coordination efforts.
