Kwesi Nyantakyi says he’s happy with the provisional squad released by Kwesi Appiah

Ghana boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says he?s happy with the provisional 26-man squad for next year?s African Cup of Nations.

Coach Kwesi Appiah made the announcement at a short ceremony in Accra on Thursday where he unveiled a provisional list of 26-players expected to begin pre- tournament camping in the United Arab Emirates in early January.

The major talking would be inclusion of Amidaus Professionals midfielder  Yahaya Mohammed who has gatecrashed Kwesi Appiah?s squad while Jordan Ayew?s exclusion has sparked massive debate among soccer fans in the West African giants.

But the Ghana FA chief says he is satisfied with the call-ups.

?I am satisfied with the players that he has called up and we?ll give him all the support,? Nyantakyi said

?I would hope this squad will be good enough to win gold.

?The Black Stars belong to all of us and so everyone who has been called up deserve to be in the team.

?Our expectations are that they go out there and make mother Ghana proud.

?We want to win gold regardless of who is in the team.?
