Ghana-born World Cup winner Marcel Desailly believes beyond any doubt that his ex-Chelsea team-mate John Terry is not a racist.

Terry has retired from international duties as the FA investigates him after allegedly racially abusing Queen?s Park Rangers(QPR) Anton Ferdinand.

But Desailly, who spent six seasons at Stamford Bridge during his distinguished playing career, defends  his former team-mate saying  Terry is ? a natural leader?.

?I know Terry, he is not a racist person, and it?s going too far stripping him of the captaincy,? Desailly said.

?Yes, the Football Association who is the administration has made a statement.

?What is good is that the player is a natural leader.?

As Desailly has been speaking out over The FA/John Terry tedium, and shockingly he comes down in favour of his ex-Chelsea teammate.

This gives further credence to the theory that there are no real opinions in football, just groups of people separated by club loyalty.
