Ghana Black Stars held a closed door training session on Monday evening at their camping base in Ngouoni, Franceville ahead of their crucial Nations Cup final group game against Guinea.

Head coach Goran Stevanovic wants to undertake some serious tactical exercises with his team to be unleashed in Wednesday’s against Michel Dussuyer’s side.

Ghanasoccernet.com also understands intense set-piece regimen will be practiced during the session.

The Ghana team aims to seal qualification as the top side in Group D with a win over the Syli National who are brimming with confidence after their 6-1 demolition of Botswana.

The Black Stars could only labour to a 1-0 win over the tournament’s debutants in the opening group fiixture but restored pride with an impressive 2-0 win over Mali on Saturday.

The technical team however wants to use Monday’s session to correct and improve upon mistakes made during the Mali game while also taking time to enhance the Black Stars’ conversion rate through set pieces.

This is the first time at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations that Ghana has held a closed-door session.

However Tuesday’s which is the final session before the crucial game against Guinea will be made open to the press.
