Ghana’s consumer inflation rate in April rose to 9.5 percent, compared with the 9.3 percent rate recorded in March.

According to the Ghana Statistical Service, the rise was mainly due to the 0.7 percentage point rise in the Non-Food inflation rate for the month of April.

“Non-food inflation increased to 10.4 percent in April, compared with the 9.7 percent recorded in March,” David Kombat, deputy government statistician said. Enditem
