Where do you get the most awesome pearls in India? It’s none other than the City of Nawabs which also has a sobriquet of being called the City of Pearls. If you still haven’t guessed it, then for your information I am talking about a city called Hyderabad which is also the capital city of Indian state Andhra Pradesh. Famous for its eclectic culture and tradition which has been passed onto it from the Nawabs themselves, Hyderabad has a prominence on every traveller’s itinerary. Did you also know that it has the title of being the fourth most-populous city in the country? One of the largest metropolitan cities that India has, Hyderabad is a famous hotspot for travellers.

There was a time when Hyderabad was a global center of the diamond and pearls trade.

People used to frequent this city in order to trade with Hyderabadi traders. But don’t get me wrong as it is not the only thing that attracts people to the city. Hyderabad is famous for its culture and great archaeological sites which also creates quite an excitement amongst the general public. However unlike earlier times when air travelling was not a common trend, travellers now prefer opting for cheap flights to Hyderabad which makes you reach the far-off southern part of India within no time.

These days travellers don’t like wasting their time on travelling by other means of transport because they are any day slower and take more time. Not just the domestic travellers but those coming from foreign countries also vouch for this mode. Flights- Hyderabad to Delhi and from Delhi to Hyderabad are a common sight for all.

I say Delhi in specific because Delhi being the capital of the country has more number of airlines and is better connected to other cities. For domestic and international flyers, Delhi is the safest bet. Flying was somewhat unaffordable to all classes of people earlier, but with the introduction of cheap tickets and thus cheap flights to Hyderabad, things have become better. The Indian public has become better versed with the flying experience and for good.

Talking about Hyderabad, once a great man, the Chairman of Drafting Committee, B.R. Ambedkar said that Hyderabad has all the amenities which Delhi has and is far better a city than Delhi. Beautiful cheap buildings are coming up and with an introduction of a Parliament House; Hyderabad can take on the role of Delhi. No doubt, Hyderabad is beautiful and is very welcoming by nature, but that it will take on Delhi, is in my knowledge, going too far. Excited to compare the two cities? Take flights Hyderabad to Delhi or Delhi to Hyderabad and see for yourself.
