Latest from the camp of the popular musician, Gasmilla, is that the ?Aboo Daa Twoi? crooner has set up his own Afrobeats band.

GASMILLA - LOUDThis is part of his efforts to enhance the entertainment he provides any time he mounts the stage.

?The idea of setting up an Afrobeats band was to project music made in Ghana and also perform original music to my fans on any given platform,? the musician explained.

Gasmilla was born Milla Lamptey on December 15, 1984. A Ga from Botianor, he has always been involved in music since age seven.

He has worked with top producers like Hammer of the Last Two, JQ, Decoder, Odo nsuo Aquabua and 5th project studios. ?Currently his hit singles??Aboo Daa Twoi?, which talks about discrimination among women, and ?3 Points??are still doing well long after they were released.

Gasmilla said his band will extend its objectives to teaching young Ghanaian children about their traditional culture and music in the near future.

The band is made up of drummers, keyboardists, percussionists, lead and bass guitarists and trumpeters. They are top players in the industry who have been sourced and poached from major bands by management of Gasmilla.? They include Humu Abdul Rahman, Emmanuel Opoku, Frank Kwesi Amoako, Vida Nyarko, Sampson Yeboah, Fairuza Namma Abubakari, Kofi Osei Bonsu, Attah Agyemang, Comfort Oman and Daniel Owusu Agyekum.
