Swansea City?s Andre Ayew

Swansea City boss Garry Monk insists his wide boy Andre Ayew is ready to fire against Stoke City despite concerns over his fitness and fatigue.

The Ghana deputy captain missed the Black Stars friendly against Canada this week with the excuse that he was suffered a minor knee injury.

He also travelled to his home country last week before returning to training on Thursday which brought concerns of fatigue.

But a relieved Monk insists Ayew on of his most influential performers this season ? will be okay to face Stoke on Monday night.

?Andre is fine,? Monk said.

?He had some bumps and bruises and a few pains after Tottenham, so medically it was best that he missed Ghana?s game.

?He picked up a knock at Southampton and then got another knock against Tottenham.

?It was important for him to have some rest and recovery, but he has trained this week.?
