The Obenyah Foundation has embarked on another benevolent exercise by donating teaching and learning materials to needy students in Klagon and old Ningo in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.

The items donated include: School bags, exercise books, notes books, graph books, mathematical set, rulers, pens, pencils, sharpeners erasers and others.

Officers and volunteers of TOF presented the materials directly to 126 needy students in public schools at Klagon and Old Ningo.

Beneficiary students, parents and the school authorities expressed their profound gratitude to the foundation and its sponsors for the kind gesture done them.

Mr. Owusu Frederick, the Head teacher of Klagon Basic School commended the Foundation for coming to their aid. This he said, the items donated would go a long way to motivate the children and also alleviate the financial burden on the parents when it comes to buying such items.

“It is common to see some children go through the entire academic year with just one or two exercise books and so I believe that this support will go a very long way to motivate children to do better in school,” he stated.
