FormerBlack Stars defender and now Karela FC Coach, Frimpong Manso has thrown his weight behind the Black Stars to win massively against Comoros in this afternoons game.

Ghana will be playing the Les Coelecantes in the second leg of the FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this afternoon.

The first leg ended goalless in Moroni in Comoros and the former national star insists that Ghana will win massively this afternoon.

Speaking to Ghanasoccernet.com on the chances of the Black Stars, the former Asante Kotoko defender admitted that even though the Black Stars performance in the first leg was not encouraging, the team will rise to the occasion.

When we went there, we took the game easy and the AstroTurf did not help us. A lot of people will not understand but the Astroturf is difficult to play on. But playing them at home, I am sure we will beat them with not less than three goals,

Here we are playing on a natural field which is very comfortable for our players. We have what it takes to push Comoros aside so I am not scared at all. I know we will beat them massively in Kumasi.

Of course since they had a draw in the first leg, everybody is expecting the Comoros side to do well in Ghana. But I trust the Black Stars to wallop them in Kumasi, Manso said.

I would not expect many goals from the Black Stars but at the same time I would also not expect less than three goals.

Manso added that the players know what is at stake for them and would not take chances.
